Oral Certifying Examination  

The ABOMS Oral Certifying Examination (OCE) is an oral based examination designed to test a Board candidate’s clinically applicable knowledge and judgment. The examination is made up of four 50 minute examinations that cover four surgery sections. After successful completion of the Qualifying Examination, Candidates have three (3) consecutive years in which to take and pass the Oral Certifying Examination.

ABOMS will begin accepting applications for the Qualifying Examination and the Oral Certifying Examination in the Spring of 2016. Until that time this area of the website is under contruction.
