Are you an ABOMS Diplomate with a practice emphasis on providing head and neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery? If so, you may want to distinguish yourself among your peers by earning the ABOMS Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery.
This new CAQ is designed for oral and maxillofacial surgeons who have demonstrated significant qualifications in this specialized area, and who conduct a practice with emphasis on, and commitment to, this focused component of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeons who hold this CAQ have completed additional specialty education, a certification examination process, and are qualified to practice Head & Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery as a focused specialty area of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
If you are an ABOMS Diplomate, in good standing; have completed an ABOMS recognized one-year Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery; or, is a Diplomate in good standing with the American Board of Otolaryngology, you may be eligible.

Applications are now being accepted through May 5, 2016. The first examination will be administered at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Las Vegas.
